Responsibilities
- Understand customer/business needs/desires/problems to drive desired outcomes and create a strategy to achieve them.
- Lead, inspire, and empower a talented group of engineers to self-organize and innovate, implementing, deploying, and owning end-to-end complex software solutions.
- Develop and grow engineering talent through effective mentoring, coaching, and retention strategies.
- Guide the team in creating software solutions for end-to-end problems, delivering value in small batches while considering non-functional requirements.
- Oversee the discovery, planning, and execution to successfully deliver value to our customers.
- Lead a specific domain of our product.
- Contribute to the wider tech organization by leading strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in an Extreme Programming environment.
- 4+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
- Experience with Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, RESTful Services).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of quality, performance, monitoring, alerting, and security standards.
- Proficient in testing with a focus on automated end-to-end quality.
