Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of mobile/web-based applications and AI-driven products.
- Be actively involved in coding, code reviews, and setting the technical direction for the team.
- Ensure consistent project delivery by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering activities with broader company objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in technology, applying insights to drive innovation within the team.
- Oversee the quality of the team’s output through rigorous testing and maintenance practices.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript technologies, specifically Node.js and React.
- Solid experience in Golang and Python, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and delivery, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in building AI-driven products is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an emphasis on team motivation and engagement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Prior involvement in end-to-end product lifecycle management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
