Responsibilities
- Help engineering teams execute faster by managing the processes and tools that remove friction.
- Utilize AI and automation in daily tasks to address real challenges faced by the teams you support.
- Administer Jira and Confluence, including setting up configurations, workflows, permissions, and automations.
- Oversee the triage and intake process to ensure work is properly routed and meets standards before reaching engineering teams.
- Maintain healthy roadmaps and provide weekly delivery reporting to leadership.
- Ensure the integrity of engineering metrics data, including team definitions, ownership records, and tool configurations.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, process, or tooling roles, with a significant experience in delivering meaningful outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with Jira administration, including boards, workflows, schemas, permissions, and custom fields.
- Practical knowledge of incorporating AI into daily work processes, understanding when and how to apply it effectively.
- Systematic thinking skills for identifying process and system interconnections and understanding potential downstream impacts of changes.
- Ability to distill vague requests from senior stakeholders into scoped work, along with the confidence to decline requests when appropriate.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document processes clearly.
- A genuine interest in operations, internal tooling, and enhancing developer experience.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.
- Experience with engineering metrics, developer productivity data, or DORA metrics is beneficial.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency by using the company or similar products, with a solid understanding of the industry.
- Experience in building Jira automation rules or Rovo agents.
- SQL knowledge and/or experience with TypeScript and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with building Slack workflows or integrations.
- Basic understanding of Slack, Jira, or GitLab APIs.
- Exposure to localization, QA, or compliance processes.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team.
