Position

The Engineering Quality and Work Process Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the engineering department's quality program, ensuring high-quality services and deliverables. This includes reviewing consultant quality management systems (QMS), establishing key performance indicators (KPI), performing root cause analysis, problem-solving, identifying lessons learned, and auditing engineering activities. Additionally, the manager will oversee three to five direct reports and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to enhance processes and procedures within the client's organization.

This position is based in Ras Al-Khair, approximately 100 kilometers north of Jubail Industrial City. Daily commuting between Jubail and Ras Al-Khair is required. Accommodation in Jubail Industrial City is provided, along with complimentary breakfast and lunch for Ras Al-Khair assignees on workdays. This position is designated as Single Status only.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Engineering Management to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and write engineering procedures and work instructions.
  • Lead quality initiatives and communicate work process improvements.
  • Perform audits of technical service consultants and internal engineering work.
  • Prepare regular quality reports on the quality program implementation.
  • Oversee the project corrective action system and processes.
  • Facilitate Project Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 13 to 15 years of experience in civil engineering or related disciplines, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a small team.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001 standards.

Language Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role.
