The candidate will be responsible for protecting sensitive organizational data, implementing data governance controls, managing endpoint and discovery solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage enterprise-level DLP solutions using Symantec DLP.
- Implement and maintain GEODI Data Classifier, GEODI Data Discovery, and GEODI End Point Discovery solutions.
- Develop and maintain DLP policies for monitoring, detection, and prevention of sensitive data leakage.
- Configure and manage endpoint, network, email, cloud, and storage-based DLP controls.
- Perform data discovery and classification activities across enterprise environments.
- Identify sensitive and regulated data across structured and unstructured repositories.
- Analyze DLP incidents, investigate security violations, and recommend remediation actions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to strengthen data protection posture.
- Generate operational, compliance, and risk assessment reports for management and audit requirements.
- Support incident response activities related to data exfiltration and insider threats.
- Develop documentation including SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Security and Data Protection technologies.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Symantec DLP Certification, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Strong hands-on experience with Symantec DLP, GEODI Data Classifier, GEODI Data Discovery, and GEODI End Point Discovery.
- Strong understanding of data classification methodologies and data governance principles.
- Experience in incident analysis, policy tuning, and troubleshooting DLP solutions.
