Position

The company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with strong expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, and data discovery technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise Data classification and DLP solutions, specifically with Symantec DLP and GEODI platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for protecting sensitive organizational data, implementing data governance controls, managing endpoint and discovery solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and manage enterprise-level DLP solutions using Symantec DLP.
  • Implement and maintain GEODI Data Classifier, GEODI Data Discovery, and GEODI End Point Discovery solutions.
  • Develop and maintain DLP policies for monitoring, detection, and prevention of sensitive data leakage.
  • Configure and manage endpoint, network, email, cloud, and storage-based DLP controls.
  • Perform data discovery and classification activities across enterprise environments.
  • Identify sensitive and regulated data across structured and unstructured repositories.
  • Analyze DLP incidents, investigate security violations, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to strengthen data protection posture.
  • Generate operational, compliance, and risk assessment reports for management and audit requirements.
  • Support incident response activities related to data exfiltration and insider threats.
  • Develop documentation including SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Security and Data Protection technologies.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Symantec DLP Certification, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Symantec DLP, GEODI Data Classifier, GEODI Data Discovery, and GEODI End Point Discovery.
  • Strong understanding of data classification methodologies and data governance principles.
  • Experience in incident analysis, policy tuning, and troubleshooting DLP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
