In this position, you will demonstrate deep practical engineering knowledge and a proven track record of timely project delivery. You will collaborate with Product Managers to develop products that enhance user experiences, leveraging various cross-disciplinary streams to achieve technological and business goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team to deliver A-class products for millions of users while applying new industry trends.
- Gathering in-depth understanding of the company platform, technologies, and industry trends.
- Serving as a mentor within your product stream and promoting coding standards and best practices.
- Monitoring team performance, promoting growth, and managing project operational aspects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Infrastructure, Design, and Strategy to ensure high product quality.
- Hiring and developing high-performing teams and being accountable for departmental attrition rates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in web-based front-end and/or back-end software engineering.
- Experience developing high-traffic, large-scale web applications.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, XP).
- Strong technical leadership and mentorship experience.
- Experience in Python and successful project management.
- Previous management of a team of 5 or more developers.
