The Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) will serve as a technical manager across the Project Engineering Lifecycle, which includes developing activities, managing risks and opportunities, and overseeing schedules. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Structuring and mastering the delivery process
  • Managing technical debt, co-contracting, and subcontracting
  • Facilitating collaboration among teams and stakeholders
  • Delivering quality engineering solutions that meet customer needs
  • Contributing to future products of the company
  • Engaging with customers closely during the project lifecycle
  • Translating needs into requirements and building the development strategy

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all work package activities, including organization, scheduling, budget control, and risk management.
  • Manage reviews and coordinate activities in collaboration with project teams, including system engineering and cyber security.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager for resource and skills management.
  • Ensure success of the work package by coordinating IVVQ activities.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant work package management or project management roles.
  • Proficient in project management techniques, including scheduling, risk management, estimating, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in a multi-discipline and multi-cultural environment on complex systems.
  • Familiarity with producing IVVQ artifacts such as test and acceptance plans.

Competencies:

  • Ability to verify technical deliverables from engineering teams.
  • Skills in leading and managing technical engineering projects.
  • Capability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders and create achievable goals.
  • Decision-making skills even in uncertain contexts.

Preferred Knowledge Domains:

  • Radio
  • Mission critical systems (e.g., C2 / C4)
  • Large and complex systems

Qualifications:

  • Master of Engineering or Computer Science degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Engineering Manager, IT/Technical Project Manager, or Software Engineering Manager.
  • IPMA or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English and French.

HSE Responsibilities:

  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
