As an Engineer/Mobile Technical Office, you will play a vital role in the company’s UAE/Tech&IT/D&FO/Mobile Network Development department. Responsibilities:
- Manage projects end-to-end, including contract reviewing, data collection and analysis, budgeting, purchase order follow-ups, material delivery monitoring, project implementation, asset updates, systems acceptance, invoicing, and systems handover to maintenance.
- Participate as a committee member in the company’s tenders to review technical & financial offers, comparing them with existing contracted offers and negotiating with bidders.
- Provide necessary power & telecom designs/solutions to maintain network availability and offer cost-effective solutions.
- Explore the market for new technologies that can provide cost savings, technical enhancements, or environmentally effective solutions, coordinating with technology/product suppliers for testing and introduction to the company’s network.
- Troubleshoot reported cases from operations and study root causes to provide appropriate rectification solutions.
- Lead other teams technically by preparing technical guidelines following organizational and authority regulations while ensuring product performance and providing case-by-case technical advice and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mobile network technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions.
- Good understanding of sustainable practices in the telecom sector.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and attend relevant training.
- UAE National, as per company's preference.
