About the Role
The position involves supporting the Enhanced Comprehensive Asset Management System (ECAMS) information processing and performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of the ECAMS Processing Unit (EPU). Furthermore, with the installation and operation of the Automated Maintenance Environment (AME) system, this role will also entail providing support for AME information processing and maintenance tasks for AME Hardware.

Responsibilities
- Maintain aircraft and engine databases by processing source documents such as NAVFLIRS, Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Form, and making entries into ECAMS and/or AME in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series.
- Process Life Usage Index (LUI) data, Maintenance System Data Reports archiving, software updates, system backups, and save/restore procedures.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly engine and aircraft reports as required.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of the EPU and/or the AME server, client stations, and associated network hardware and cables.
- Ensure LUI tracking reports are provided to verify against applicable engine Aeronautical Engine Service Records prior to engine acceptance or transfer.
- Screen all Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Forms and Naval Forward Looking Infrared Radar System documents, making entries into ECAMS and/or AME ground station.
- Ensure removal or installation of all applicable components is recorded in ECAMS and/or AME for tracking purposes.
- Support on-the-job training and cross-training of Kuwait Air Force personnel.
Requirements
- Experience with aircraft and engine maintenance and database management.
- Proficiency in using ECAMS and/or AME systems and related software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to perform troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to generate and analyze reports accurately.
- Capability to work collaboratively with international personnel and provide training as needed.
