The Enterprise Architect is responsible for aligning Space42's IT strategy with business goals, ensuring that the organization’s IT architecture supports both current and future business capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Manager IT PMO, the role includes providing strategic direction and oversight for technology platforms, systems integration, and enterprise-wide standards, guiding IT investments to meet business objectives while ensuring agility, scalability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and principles aligned with Space42's business strategy.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure alignment of architectural design and implementation with organizational goals.
- Assess and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Govern architectural decisions, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and security best practices.
- Provide architectural guidance during solution design, development, and deployment phases, and facilitate risk assessment and technical evaluation.
- Support enterprise-wide digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture or solution architecture role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, integration platforms, and enterprise data management.
Additional Requirements:
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance, and risk management.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Ability to influence and drive change across business and technical teams.
- Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, CISA) is strongly preferred.
- Project management experience or certification is an advantage.
