The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of enterprise technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals across multiple domains, while driving innovation, scalability, and security in IT environments to support the organization's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Develop and maintain enterprise technology architecture across various domains such as Sales, HR, Finance, and Construction. Ensure digital environments are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Business and Technology Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives align with business architecture. Guide the integration of diverse technology platforms.
- Technology Strategy and Innovation: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends. Develop technology roadmaps and remain updated with industry trends, especially in construction and AI optimization.
- Governance and Standards: Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices. Monitor and evaluate enterprise architecture performance.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of enterprise architects, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an advisor to senior executives on architecture and technology strategy. Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and modern IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills to relay complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT architecture roles, including 5+ years in enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, G42).
- Experience in the construction industry or related sectors within the UAE or Middle East is advantageous.
- Understanding of the unique challenges in the UAE, such as smart cities and sustainable construction.
