Job Purpose: Design and oversee the organization’s ERP architecture to ensure it aligns with business goals, integrates seamlessly with existing systems, and supports scalability, performance, and data integrity. The ERP Architect defines standards, guides implementation, and ensures the platform delivers efficient, reliable, and secure enterprise operations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Finance and HR ERP systems from planning through post-go-live stabilization.
- Define implementation roadmaps, governance structures, project milestones, and escalation paths.
- Act as the internal owner coordinating between business teams, IT, leadership, and ERP vendors.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery quality.
- Assess and optimize Finance and HR processes to align with ERP best practices.
- Define future-state workflows, operating models, approval matrices, and SOPs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional ERP requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for implementation partners.
- Validate vendor solutions and challenge recommendations that do not align with business objectives.
- Oversee Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, procurement, reporting, fixed assets, and controls.
- Oversee HR and payroll processes including employee records, leave, attendance, benefits, and approvals.
- Ensure proper integration and data flow between Finance, HR, payroll, and third-party systems.
- Lead business-side data migration activities including cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, business sign-offs, and go-live readiness.
- Drive ERP change management, training, user adoption, and operational transition activities.
- Ensure ERP design supports governance, audit readiness, segregation of duties, and access controls.
- Coordinate cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
- Monitor system performance, reporting accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with executive leadership, Finance, HR, IT, and external vendors throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates, implementation insights, and risk escalation to senior stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, or related field.
- ERP, project management, or business transformation certifications preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in ERP implementation, business transformation, or enterprise systems.
- Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
- Strong understanding of Finance and HR operational processes and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday.
- Strong project management, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, ownership, change management, and execution capabilities.
