This role involves designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers after the sale of Veeam products. The primary responsibility is to bridge customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. The Enterprise Architect will also develop reference architectures and design guidelines that standardize deployments across both customer-led and partner-led projects. Additionally, collaboration with pre-sales teams is essential for a seamless transition from design to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Discovery & Analysis: Conduct technical discovery sessions and identify opportunities for improvement using Veeam solutions.
- Solution Design & Documentation: Create high-level and detailed solution architectures, low-level design documents, and maintain reference architectures.
- Project Definition & Estimation: Define project scope, deliverables, and provide level-of-effort estimations.
- Implementation Support & Technical Leadership: Oversee the solution deployment, assist in proof-of-concept projects, and resolve complex challenges.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with various internal teams and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
- Continuous Improvement & Technology Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to internal best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IT experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking/security compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Required Certifications:
- TOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification) – Mandatory.
- Veeam VMCE – Mandatory.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, security, or virtualization preferred (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CISSP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with large-scale IT infrastructure deployments.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive innovation.
Work Environment:
The role involves frequent collaboration with internal teams and engagement with customers and partners. Potential travel may be required to support global enterprise deployments.
