The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers following the sale of Veeam products. This role merges customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology to ensure solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. Key responsibilities include:

Technical Discovery & Analysis:
Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess customer IT landscapes and identify improvement opportunities.

Solution Design & Documentation:
Design both high-level and detailed solution architectures tailored to customer environments, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and scalability best practices.

Project Definition & Estimation:
Define project scope, deliverables, and resource requirements alongside Project Managers and stakeholders.

Implementation Support & Leadership:
Provide technical oversight during deployments and assist in proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.

Collaboration:
Work closely with pre-sales, sales, and customer success teams, engaging with customers and partners to ensure successful solution adoption.

Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the development of internal best practices and technical standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IT experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud platforms, and storage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Certifications:
- TOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification) – Mandatory.
- Veeam VMCE – Mandatory.
- Relevant cloud, security, or virtualization certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CISSP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation & scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with large-scale IT infrastructure deployments.
Work Environment:
The role involves frequent collaboration with internal teams and may require travel to support global enterprise deployments.
Language Requirements:
English proficiency is essential.
