The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers after the sale of Veeam products. This role connects customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices, especially for large enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess customer IT landscape and requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on Veeam solutions.
- Design solution architectures tailored to customer environments and create detailed design documents for implementation teams.
- Develop reference architectures to standardize solution deployments and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
- Work with project managers to define project scope and estimates to support planning and resource allocation.
- Provide technical oversight during solution deployment and support partner-driven deployments.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to deployment.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating business objectives into technical strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IT experience in a solution architecture or technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems.
- Experience leading transformation projects for large enterprises and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Certifications:
- TOGAF (or equivalent) - Mandatory.
- Veeam VMCE - Mandatory.
- Relevant cloud, security, or virtualization certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CISSP) are preferred.
Work Environment:
- Frequent collaboration with internal teams (Professional Services, Pre-Sales, Sales, Partners) and customer engagement.
- Potential travel to support global enterprise deployments.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential.
