Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Ownership: Govern the Data Lakehouse architecture, ensure consistency across data layers, and validate target state Medallion Architecture aligned with enterprise principles.
- Platform & Technology Alignment: Ensure seamless integration across platforms such as Cloudera, Teradata, Informatica, and Denodo, reviewing low-level designs and integration patterns.
- Phase 1 Remediation Governance: Assess and validate architectural deliverables of Phase 1, identify gaps, and create remediation strategies.
- Enterprise Data Modeling & Standards: Implement logical and physical data models in line with aggregation standards. Validate aggregation logic and reporting readiness.
- Governance, Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with NDMO and BANK data standards, overseeing metadata and data quality designs.
- Performance, Scalability & Resilience: Define architecture patterns for availability, scalability, and disaster recovery. Guide performance tuning strategies.
- Stakeholder & Governance Engagement: Serve as the primary architectural contact with BANK IT, Data Governance, and Business teams, participating in reviews and governance forums.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, particularly in EDW modernization and Lake/Lakehouse architectures. Familiarity with Medallion architecture and BFSI data domains is key.
- Hands-on Architectural Exposure: Proficiency in Cloudera CDP, Teradata Vantage, Informatica, and Denodo.
- Governance & Compliance: Experience designing architectures that prioritize governance, including metadata frameworks and security measures.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a capacity to lead technical discussions across functions.
- Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years in data architecture roles, ideally within large BFSI organizations, with a proven track record in large-scale data platform transformations. Architecture certifications or advanced data engineering backgrounds are preferred.
