The company is looking for an experienced Enterprise / Data Architect. The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Data Lakehouse architecture, ensuring consistency across various layers including data ingestion, storage, processing, and governance. This role requires defining the target state Medallion Architecture according to the standards of the organization and performing architectural assessments and validations of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Ownership: Govern the architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers.
- Platform & Technology Alignment: Ensure consistency across various platforms, including Cloudera, Teradata, Informatica, and Denodo.
- Phase 1 Remediation Governance: Assess deliverables and identify gaps in architecture.
- Enterprise Data Modeling & Standards: Implement data models aligned with Financial Services frameworks.
- Governance, Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data management and security standards.
- Performance, Scalability & Resilience: Define architecture for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Stakeholder & Governance Engagement: Act as the primary interface with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Expertise: 15+ years of experience in data architecture roles, preferably in BFSI organizations, including strong hands-on knowledge of EDW modernization and data lake architectures.
- Governance & Compliance: Proven experience in designing governance-driven architectures and data quality frameworks.
- Non-Functional Design: Expertise in performance optimization and resilience design.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead technical discussions.
