Enterprise Data Lead

The company is a global leader in advanced technologies for the Defense, Aerospace, and Cyber & Digital sectors. The Enterprise Data Lead position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and reports to the General Manager of AGS Trading. The role focuses on overseeing the company AGS Trading data ecosystem, which encompasses ERP administration, data platforms, data analytics, integrations, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the central point of accountability for the data ecosystem, ensuring system configuration, user access, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with various departments such as procurement, supply chain, finance, sales, compliance, and IT.
• Manage user access controls and cloud-based system configurations.
• Design and develop automated data pipelines and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and collaborate with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business outcomes.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in data engineering, ERP systems, and data analytics.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks.
• Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle-based ERP), Power BI, and data governance tools.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, finance, and sales functions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in the aerospace industry or trading domain is a plus.
