Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in one or more solution domains and customer environments.
  • Develops and reviews customer proposals, managing internal and external expectations.
  • Quantifies business problems and positions value in proposed solutions.
  • Provides insights to global business units regarding IT trends and customer needs.
  • Translates outcome-based solutions into functional and technical designs.
  • Communicates solution value propositions and tracks emerging technologies.
  • Engages in industry development through conferences and events.
  • Drives Account Business Planning by leveraging industry knowledge.
  • Acts as a partner with account teams to build relationships with customers.
  • Conducts comparative analysis of solutions and develops optimal workload solutions.
  • Builds a pipeline by identifying enhancement opportunities and nurturing deals.
  • Participates in sales forecasts and documents sales cycle activities.
  • Develops professional relationships with key customer executives.
  • Shares knowledge with peers and mentors junior team members.

Education and Experience

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–12 years of technical experience in IT with focus on consulting and solution selling.
  • Relevant industry certifications highly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced experience in solution configurations and developing demos.
  • Strong understanding of company products, solutions, and customer needs.
  • Ability to translate as-a-service offerings and consumption models into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with knowledge of KPIs important to executives.
  • Consultative and value-selling skills to assist customers in decision-making.
  • Advanced project and time management experience with analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of partner offerings and their application within the go-to-market strategy.
