Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT project management in software engineering and/or information technology.
- Lead cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams.
- Engage stakeholders effectively while managing risks and project success.
- Drive process improvement and software engineering project management.
Requirements:
- Solid IT project management experience, particularly in software engineering or IT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in leading diverse and remote project teams across different cultures.
- Agile expertise and Project Management certification.
- Degree level education in Computer Science or a STEM field; MBA or similar qualification is a plus.
- Ability to travel for 6-8 weeks a year, up to two weeks at a time, sometimes internationally.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with hiring and managing teams.
- Strong commercial skills, particularly in dealing with contracts.
- Effective negotiation skills, especially in customer-facing roles for complex projects.
