Position

As a member of the ETMSA team at Crypto.com, you will play a crucial role in responding to and managing cybersecurity threats and incidents throughout their lifecycle—from Preparation to Identification, Containment, Eradication, Recovery, and Lessons Learned. You will collaborate with a global team of incident responders and apply your extensive skills in cyber defense, digital forensics, log analysis, and intrusion analysis to address security incidents across our endpoints, network, and cloud infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Director to facilitate all phases in the incident response lifecycle.
  • Involvement in various incident prevention projects to enhance security posture.
  • Understanding regulatory and compliance requirements, participating in self-assessment exercises, and developing incident response documentation.
  • Responding to cybersecurity incidents, assessing risks, performing deep-dive incident analysis, and communicating with stakeholders to manage incidents effectively.
  • Leading lessons learned meetings and documenting incidents in the management system.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the Cyber Security industry.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with the cyber security incident response process and AI tools for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with incident response activities.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (e.g., NGFW, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM).
  • Awareness of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and/or Cyber Kill Chain.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and MAS, is a plus.
  • Security certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, CISSP, GCIH) are advantageous.

Language Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Candidates should be fast learners with a proactive attitude, strong team players, and possess a sense of urgency and accountability.
