Experience Required
- 7 - 10 years of strong development experience in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, designing display files (screens), sub files, reports, and physical files.
- Strong knowledge of AS400 commands and how to deal with files, objects, and queries.
- Excellent knowledge of Equation Core Banking (back-end files, data management, EOD cycle, programming skills with Equation APIs and User exits).
- Experience in following a structured SDLC process and change/release management and control.
- Knowledge/skills in developing interfaces/extracts/reports and integration with third-party systems.
- Hands-on experience in designing/developing/implementing solutions on the EQUATION core banking system.
- Must have Banking / Financial Services experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies.
- Integrate core banking systems with digital channels or external APIs via APIs and messaging platforms.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture for seamless system communication.
- Monitor and troubleshoot middleware performance and availability, ensuring secure development practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment and updates.
- Document integration flows, technical specifications, and support procedures.
