Equation Developer job in Manama

Position

The company is currently seeking an Equation Developer for our Bahrain operations with strong expertise in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, and a solid background in Equation Core Banking. The candidate should possess 7-10 years of development experience, particularly in designing display files, sub files, reports, and managing data through AS400 commands. Familiarity with the SDLC process and integration with third-party systems is essential, alongside hands-on experience with the EQUATION core banking system. Banking or Financial Services experience is required, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies.
Integrate core banking systems with digital channels or external APIs via APIs and messaging platforms.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
Develop and maintain microservices architecture for seamless system communication.
Monitor and troubleshoot middleware performance and availability while ensuring secure development practices.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment and updates.
Document integration flows, technical specifications, and support procedures.
