Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the ERP team focused on manufacturing and quality modules (e.g., SAP PP & QM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, supply chain, sales, and finance to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of manufacturing and quality processes within the ERP system.
- Drive process improvements through automation and enhanced ERP functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to manufacturing and quality workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards through ERP system controls.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Manage documentation of system processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and external consultants when necessary.
- Lead ERP upgrade and integration projects related to manufacturing and quality modules.
- Allocate resources, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of SAP system, especially manufacturing and quality modules.
- Ability to configure and customize SAP manufacturing and quality processes.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving system issues related to manufacturing and quality workflows.
- Knowledge of production planning, shop floor control, inventory management, and quality assurance standards.
- Familiarity with different quality management setups within an organization.
- Integration knowledge of SAP with other shop floor systems such as MES, PLCs, etc.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem resolution and continuous improvement.
- Training and mentoring end-users on ERP functionality.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP, especially production and quality modules.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role overseeing SAP projects.
- Proven experience in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations (Planning to go-live and support).
- SAP certification is a must, ideally in production or quality.
- Prefer certified professional such as TOGAF, PMP, or ITIL.
