ESB Engineer

About the Job:
The Role Purpose of the ESB Engineer includes:

• Experience in Banking, SOA Delivery methodology, and implementation of SOA best practices.
• Knowledge of Banking Service standards such as ISO8583, IFX, Open Bank Project, ISO20022, and SWIFT.
• Core service design experience which includes:
  • Experience with REST APIs and Web Services.
  • Implementing different Integration Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of SOA Principles & best practices, SDLC & SGLC processes.
  • Creating HLD & LLD Documentation.

The ESB Engineer will be responsible for implementing and delivering technical services for Multi-Tier & SOA Architecture, contributing to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service Analysis. Responsibilities include preparing technical design documents for multiple projects, involved in the inception/strengthening of SOA practices, and providing strong hands-on development experience in:

• IBM Data Power Development & Administration
• IBM API Connect Development & Administration
• ODM Development & Administration
• IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development
• ESQL Development, Java Development
• Oracle/SQL DB Development
• IBM MQ V9.x and related tasks
• Security & Performance Best Practices
• Testing tools (e.g., SOAPUI, RPT, RFT, LoadRunner, PostMan)

Other responsibilities involve preparing Unit Test Documents & Test case Scenarios, understanding ADIB business requirements, preparing IARs and related documents for approvals, supporting UAT, tracking incidents, and ensuring compliance with mandatory standards.
