ESB Engineer

Virtusa is seeking an experienced ESB Engineer with strong expertise in the Banking sector and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Banking Service standards, including ISO8583, IFX, Open Bank Project, ISO20022, and SWIFT. Key responsibilities include:

• Core service design experience with Rest APIs and Web Services.
• Implementation of various integration design patterns.
• Knowledge of SOA principles and best practices, SDLC, and SGLC processes.
• Creation of High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Delivery of technical services for Multi-Tier and SOA architecture.
• Preparing technical design documents for multiple projects.
• Providing operational support, including 3rd level support for SOA solutions post go-live.
• Tracking, resolving, and reporting incidents as well as maintaining documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in SOA development, with at least 2-4 years in a similar banking role.
• Strong hands-on development experience with IBM Data Power and IBM API Connect.
