Responsibilities
As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms.
- Collaborating with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application, as well as suggested products/services, have been considered.
- Designing a job program that includes risk mitigation and contingency plans to meet client objectives, maximize revenue potential, and ensure future job assignments.
- Accurately documenting all calculations, simulations, plan revisions, and/or changes during project cycles for visibility to dependent teams and for audit purposes.
- Providing on-demand support according to the product portfolio or on-call schedule during job execution.
- Ensuring timely incident management to enable fast resolution of customer issues and prompt cash collection.
- Advising on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component/product failures.
- Providing sales support and product application recommendations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) Design.
- Demonstrate extensive expertise in ESP technologies and Artificial Lift solutions, including design, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Have a proven ability to lead technical projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with clients through professional oral and written presentations.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of sustainability principles and their application in product design, deployment, and operational practices.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate conditions and recommend optimal Artificial Lift systems.
- Be proficient in technical software related to ESP selection, simulation, monitoring, and optimization.
- Be a customer-focused professional with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to lead in equipment management and forecasting.
- Have experience leading projects involving surface and subsurface artificial lift equipment.
