Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and organizing requirements while applying relevant usability procedures and principles.
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products, as well as assist in their commercialization.
- Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing, set up and run lab simulations, design and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentations. Provide timely corrective actions on defects.
- Produce analyses and mathematical models, drawing design conclusions based on the results.
- Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code, and other artifacts, contributing to design standards and supporting design re-use.
- Create and maintain product documentation, providing support to field and customers through InTouch, and delivering user training as required.
- Assign, direct, and review the work of technicians, providing guidance to engineers and mentoring junior engineers as needed.
- Continually evaluate engineering approaches and risks to enhance project outcomes.
- Author technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations, sharing expertise via Eureka and special interest groups while expanding an informal network throughout the organization.
- Maintain familiarity with company technology, organization, and business practices, while keeping abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
- Adopt new practices readily to develop innovative and low-cost products.
- Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix.
Experience Requirements
- 8-14 years of relevant experience is required.
