eTrading Developer

The client is establishing a next-generation electronic trading and market-making platform across multiple asset classes - Rates, Credit, and FX. The role involves designing and building low-latency, event-driven trading systems that integrate market data, pricing libraries, and execution venues, enabling real-time streaming, execution, and risk-aware trade processing. This position is part of the front-office technology team, requiring close collaboration with traders, quants, and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency trading applications.
• Develop event-driven architecture for market data ingestion, pricing orchestration, and real-time price streaming.
• Integrate quantitative pricing libraries into real-time trading flows.
• Implement connectivity to trading venues and develop order routing logic.
• Ensure integration with trade capture systems and build real-time STP pipelines.
• Continuously optimize latency, throughput, and resource utilization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in capital markets technology, with at least 7+ years in electronic trading platform development.
• Strong programming expertise in C# and Python.
• Knowledge of cloud-native deployment (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Solace, JMS) and REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Experience with electronic trading workflows and market microstructure across FX/Rates/Credit.
