Position

The Event Operations Specialist – Anti-Fraud plays a key role in protecting the integrity of the ticketing ecosystem by detecting, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activities across event transactions, ticket transfers, and resell operations. This role ensures fair access to genuine fans, supports operational accuracy, and contributes to continuous fraud prevention improvements through data analysis and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate, and resolve potentially fraudulent transactions, account activities, or suspicious ticket transfers.
  • Prepare detailed analyses and lists of events for ticket cancellations, user blocking, and fraud prevention actions.
  • Identify, analyze, and report emerging fraud patterns, anomalies, or vulnerabilities to the Anti-Fraud Manager.
  • Conduct manual reviews of system alerts and suspicious activity.
  • Maintain accuracy, speed, and decision consistency within defined SLA and KPI targets.
  • Prepare investigation reports, evidence summaries, and escalation documentation for management review.
  • Participate in tool testing, fraud workflow optimization, and automation initiatives.
  • Support the manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, documentation protocols, and internal anti-fraud policies.
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards when handling sensitive user data and investigation materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, or event ticketing operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with fluency in English and Arabic.
