About the Role
The role is responsible for working and engaging with WBG Coverage, GTx Product Management, and GTx Channel teams to structure and advise GTx solutions to clients. The individual in this role must manage and contribute towards the growth objectives of the GTx business across Corporate Banking and Family Conglomerate industries. The position reports to the Executive Director & Head of GTx Client Solutions WBG - Family Conglomerates, Corporate Banking, Education & Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Oversight: Define and lead on the strategy for achieving long-term results for the delivery of working capital for cash and trade clients.
- Business Development: Identify and develop Cash and Trade business opportunities and profitability in various industries across the UAE, responsible for Cash and Trade product growth jointly with coverage teams.
- Execute calling plans for each industry segment in conjunction with relationship managers to deepen Cash and Trade product penetration across assigned segments.
- Utilize a consultative approach and Cash and Trade knowledge to design and implement suitable, innovative solutions meeting customer needs.
- Market Development: Structure bespoke open account solutions and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Structure complex Trade deals and provide technical expertise to clients and relationship managers.
- CASA Generation: Structure liquidity and liabilities solutions that drive CASA growth while ensuring best-in-class customer experiences.
- Regulatory Oversight: Proactively manage fraud and compliance risks in Cash and Trade business solutions for clients.
- Digital Penetration: Facilitate conversion of existing and new bank customers onto electronic channels.
- Pipeline Management: Collaborate with coverage teams to build and maintain a strong Cash and Trade pipeline, emphasize deal mandate closures, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Credit Proposals: Partner with coverage teams to develop quality credit proposals supporting the structuring of Trade facilities, managing transactional risks profitably.
- Ensure best-in-class service delivery focused on customer satisfaction.
- Maintain liaison with intra-regional and cross-regional stakeholders to facilitate cross-border transactions.
- Generate customer leads to increase share of wallet with existing relationships and assist in generating new revenue from new clients.
- Provide technical expertise to coverage teams for developing quality proposals and RFPs that win mandates.
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring delivery of Transaction Banking Products (Cash & Trade).
- Drive Cash and Trade sales tailored to client needs, including participation in budgeting processes.
- Actively engage with clients to build Cash & Trade business, structuring transactions, and providing expertise to relationship managers.
- Participate in deal teams to provide bespoke Cash and Trade solutions.
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate with colleagues to build a robust Cash & Trade pipeline.
- Identify opportunities for product, system, process, and practice improvements reflecting client needs and market trends.
- Work closely with regional coverage teams to develop new markets, clients, and products.
- Collaborate on creating detailed Key Account Plans to maximize market share and monitor utilization of Trade facilities.
- Understand and comply with regulations and internal policies related to Credit, Compliance, and Operational Risks.
- Market Profile Enhancement: Increase Transaction Banking market profile by organizing or participating in industry events.
- Collaborate with the Cash & Trade Product innovation team to finalize documentation and structure new trade products/solutions.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Over 10 years of Transaction Banking experience with specialized knowledge in Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity Management, and Core Trade Finance.
- Experience in origination and developing client relationships, driven and motivated with a proven sales record within a corporate client portfolio.
- Strong client network focused on growing Cash and Trade business in the region.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Cash and Trade Finance products, including Digital/Electronic Channels and Collections and Reconciliation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work across functions and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Strong origination capability with superior customer orientation and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and self-confidence; ability to work under pressure with a focus on performance delivery.
- Capable of articulating and delivering high-quality client presentations.
- Understanding of operational processes, procedures, and related risks in cash and trade transactions.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment concerning the financial industry in the UAE.
