Expert Engineer/Network Security

The job involves reviewing and implementing security controls to protect the company's infrastructure services, ensuring adherence to the organization’s security practices and guidelines. Key responsibilities include managing 4G, 3G, MPLS, Internet, Cloud, Data Centers, and IPTV services, supporting On-Call Escalations, and participating in change management functions while engaging with multiple stakeholders and service owners.

Key responsibilities are:

• Administration, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security-related issues.
• Management of security devices including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper SRX, and Huawei Firewalls.
• Understanding Access Control Lists and Policy filters on high-end Cisco Routers and Switches.
• Analyzing network architecture and recommending policies and strategies for infrastructure upgrades.
• Diagnosing problems under time constraints.
• Coordinating security planning for new projects to ensure compliance with security practices.
• Providing Level 2/3 support for network security issues.
• Collaborating with TAC regarding hardware, software, network issues, and RMA for faulty equipment.
• Offering call-out support on all L2/L3 escalations 24/7.

Qualifications include deep technical knowledge of security devices and infrastructure, hands-on experience with various security technologies, preferably in a telecom environment. Relevant certifications include CCNP (Security), JNCIP (Security), NSE4, among others. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Security, complemented by a BS in Computer Science or Engineering, is required.
