Application Monitoring: Utilize AppDynamics to monitor and optimize the performance of applications built with Java, Node.js, and PHP, ensuring application health across various environments. A thorough understanding of the end-to-end architecture of digital applications, backend applications, and fulfillment applications is essential.

Infrastructure Monitoring: Implement and manage OpenText OBM to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and databases. Develop management packs to support emerging technologies.

Log Analytics: Use Splunk for aggregating, analyzing, and visualizing log data to proactively identify issues and performance bottlenecks.

Deep Application Knowledge: Provide performance insights into the internals of enterprise applications, facilitating troubleshooting and performance tuning. Additionally, create dashboards for visibility into application operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to define observability requirements and enhance monitoring solutions.

Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into application and infrastructure health, performance metrics, and user experience.

Incident Response: Participate in incident management and response using observability tools to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Advocate for best practices in observability and contribute to the development of new monitoring tools and methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in the IT industry, focusing on full stack development and observability.
- Extensive knowledge of AppDynamics for application performance management, OpenText OBM, and Splunk for log analytics.
- Proficiency in full stack technologies: Java, Node.js, PHP, and frontend frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, microservices, APIs, and databases.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is required.
- Certifications related to AppDynamics, OpenText OBM, or Splunk are preferable.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and custom monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
