Main Tasks:

  • Support the Maintenance & Technical Support Depot (MTSD) team by advising and assisting in all specialty aspects.
  • Monitor and analyze factors affecting operational availability and system performance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate the performance of Mobile Integrated Defense systems, including data handling and communication equipment.
  • Monitor Built-In Test equipment/software, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
  • Perform intermediate level maintenance and diagnostics, ensuring operational readiness of the Mobile Integrated Defense system.
  • Offer support to Mobile Maintenance Team functions, traveling to remote sites for software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On-the-Job Training (OJT).
  • Communicate with Contractor Experts in Europe to resolve malfunctions when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Weapon Technology.
  • Specialized training and certification in weapon systems and associated equipment.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French and Arabic is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of weapon systems and associated communication equipment, including installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of weapon systems, including various associated equipment and subsystems.
  • Experience in a multicultural, multi-disciplinary environment with customer interactions.
  • Good understanding of wider contractor support services.
