Main Tasks:

  • Support the deployment of the Air Defense System:
    • Evaluate the performance of Mobile Integrated Defense equipment.
    • Perform intermediate level maintenance in your specialty as needed.
    • Provide support to the Maintenance & Technical Support Depot (MTSD) engineers and technicians in the field, focusing on troubleshooting and repair of Mobile Integrated Defense equipment.
    • Diagnose complex electronic issues using various electronic repair procedures including system diagnostics, unit self-checks, Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), and diagnostic tools.
    • Maintain log-books and provide periodic reporting on equipment serviceability.
    • Support Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote sites for maintenance, troubleshooting, and On the Job Training (OJT).

Qualifications:

  • Senior Technician diploma in Electro-mechanics / Electricity.
  • Specialized knowledge and 3-5 years of experience with Mobile Integrated Defense equipment, or similar systems.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of weapon system operations and maintenance.
  • Experience with weapon system components, including Safety Management Units, Power Distribution Modules, Ethernet switches, Control Electronics Units, and related hardware.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits using diagnostic software and test equipment.
  • Familiar with tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and signal generators for maintenance and calibration tasks.
  • Experience in a complex, multicultural environment with customer interactions.
