Your Key Responsibilities
In the strategy consulting practice, you will play a significant role in work streams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. Key activities include:
- Collaborating closely with clients to define the objectives and scope of engagements.
- Working predominately on strategy-related projects such as:
- Long-term strategy roadmaps
- Growth strategies
- Market entry & expansion strategies
- Go-to-market strategies
- Business-wide digital transformation projects
- Commercial due diligence and greenfield projects
- Engaging with clients that may include global corporates, governments, family conglomerates, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Directly collaborating with C-Suite executives on their strategic and transaction decisions.
Skills and Attributes
As a strategy consulting professional, you should possess the ability to:
- Develop business strategies utilizing tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
- Review transaction rationale and deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into actionable plans and goals.
Education and Qualification
- A bachelor's degree from a top-ranking university; an MBA or Master's from a prestigious business school is a plus.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in consulting or strategy-related fields.
- Proficiency in assessing industries, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and capability to travel within the MENA region (approximately 25-50% of the time).
