F5 Managed Services Engineer

We are seeking an experienced F5 Managed Services Engineer to provide 24x7 operational support for enterprise F5 environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing, troubleshooting, and supporting F5 solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across critical network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 operational support for F5 managed services in a shift-based environment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to F5 infrastructure.
• Configure, administer, and maintain F5 products, including:
  • F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM)
  • F5 Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF)
  • F5 DNS
  • F5 Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM)
  • F5 Access Policy Manager (APM)
• Perform health checks, configuration changes, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
• Investigate performance issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal service availability.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers for incident resolution and change implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes while meeting agreed SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with F5 technologies.
• Strong practical knowledge of:
  • F5 LTM
  • F5 AWAF
  • F5 DNS
  • F5 AFM
  • F5 APM
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, and load balancing concepts.
• Familiarity with incident management and IT service management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational support model.

Preferred Qualifications:

• F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) or equivalent F5 certifications.
• Experience working in an enterprise Managed Services environment.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices.

Language Requirements:
English fluency is preferred for effective communication.
