Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and related installation works.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and overall project requirements.
- Review and process Work Inspection Requests (WIR)/Inspection Reports (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and other QA/QC documentation.
- Inspect façade materials upon delivery and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
- Monitor installation quality, alignment, fixing, sealing, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Witness required façade testing and inspections as per project requirements.
- Identify non-conforming works and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, façade specialists, and project teams on quality matters.
- Maintain thorough inspection records, test reports, checklists, and other quality documentation.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, and handover activities.
- Prepare quality reports and highlight significant quality issues to project management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in façade QA/QC engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction quality assurance and control standards.
- Familiarity with inspection and testing methodologies specific to façade works.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping practices.
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance and control are a plus.
