Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and mentor the team, ensuring they are working in a safe, standardized, and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the team and the wider network to leverage technical expertise and devise solutions.
- Achieve and enhance Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics while raising performance and compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in partnership with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to maintain a high level of equipment availability for internal customers.
- Ensure adequate technical coverage is available for the shifts managed by organizing and directing the team training program.
- Organize local projects or support MEATR level projects as assigned by the manager.
- Demonstrate practical engineering experience, including a supervisory role managing personnel.
- Possess experience with automated equipment, including sortation and conveyor systems.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement vendor annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) with appropriate service levels for equipment.
- Manage a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians; define goals, priorities, and organize staff planning and training to ensure service levels are met.
- Ensure a safe working environment by applying the company Safety Policy and collaborating with the Safety team to improve safety on-site.
A Day in the Life
- Monitor and respond daily to RME customer requests through the trouble ticketing system, maintaining a customer-obsessed mindset.
- Ensure the quality of service received from annual maintenance contract vendors, verifying performance against the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and taking appropriate action for any failures.
About the Team
The Site RME team manages all building engineering and facilities-related day-to-day issues and projects, including soft services and technical services related to base building and material handling equipment (MHE).
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience using a computer maintenance management system for planning, scheduling, and auditing facilities/maintenance activities.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of material handling systems (MHS).
