Facilities Manager, Data Center

About the Job: We are seeking a Facilities Manager for our Data Center team in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define operations and develop Change Management procedures, tools, and Standard Operating Procedures for our collocation data center facilities. You will act as a technical leader, managing a team and consultants during both normal and emergency operations, ensuring compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements. You will also provide administrative support throughout construction phases of new data center projects and analyze energy-efficient solutions to minimize power losses. Additionally, you will lead engineering studies, offer system review services, participate in Root Cause Analysis, instruct vendors, and respond to emergencies in our regional data centers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in global large data center facility operation (10+MW) in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, fire systems, and control systems.
• Functional knowledge of cloud technologies, IT service delivery principles, and best practices.
• Highly driven and self-managed individual with strong problem analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with data center construction procedures.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary (25% to 50%+ at times).
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is a must, as the role involves coordination with headquarters in China.
