Field Engineer

The Field Engineer will be responsible for onsite installation of motors and variable speed drives systems and equipment as well as ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation. They will provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, refurbishment, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of medium voltage synchronous and induction motors, generators, excitation, and AVR systems, along with knowledge of medium voltage variable speed drives systems.
• Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services.
• Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, prepare job status reports, reports to customers, time sheets, and expense sheets on a complete timely and thorough basis.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure the executed work aligns with the company's safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience in field services in the electrical field.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, as required.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
