Our remote drilling team is responsible for real-time support to drilling and evaluation operations in Saudi Arabia. This includes controlling remote jobs, technical support, and other service requests. The team is always looking for further improvements in processes, procedures, and ways of working.

Responsibilities
As part of the 24/7 Remote Operations Team, you will provide real-time support for the LWD product portfolio and associated software, with the goal to prevent/minimize non-productive time for customers and ensure effective service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters to complete operations safely and efficiently.
  • Collecting and ensuring that both surface and down-hole data is stored in the database and preparing required deliverables.
  • Participating in managing job cycle activities to proactively impact service delivery.
  • Mentoring junior engineers to raise competencies by developing specific processes and procedures.
  • Providing technical support for the assigned product portfolio and associated software as needed.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with HSE policies, code of conduct, and compliance requirements.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Drilling Services (previous experience within the company preferred).
  • The ability to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule.
  • A solid background and knowledge of a broad range of down-hole drilling and evaluation tools and services.
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and solve technical issues, coupled with a process-oriented working style.
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
