Field Service Engineer

About the Job:
The opportunity involves executing installation, testing, and commissioning activities at customer sites or the company projects related to high-voltage (HV) products. This includes third-party HV products, subject to authorization by the company management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning of HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with the tools management department, ensuring proper use of HV test equipment for site activities.
• Complete GIS installation and compartment assembly, perform minor fabrications as needed, troubleshoot defects, and advise on necessary repairs.
• Support PGHV Service work at customer sites.
• Learn operation of test equipment for HV products maintenance.
• Collaborate with project management on various projects, adhering to all compliance and discipline requirements.
• Lead contractors or subcontractors during job execution and coordinate resource needs with customers.
• Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements.
• Follow company rules and regulations, report safety or integrity incidents, and submit accurate time sheets and expense reports as per company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3-4 years of experience in high-voltage products, electrical equipment, and related fields in industries or utilities companies.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
