About the Job:
As a Field Service Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for studying the contractual scope of site work, applicable specifications and standards, electrical scheme drawings, and interface engineering. You will prepare and schedule site test procedures in line with manufacturer recommendations, identify necessary test equipment, and perform testing and commissioning of equipment ensuring adherence to established test procedures. Your role will also involve documenting test results and certifications, addressing and rectifying reported malfunctions, coordinating with customers for outage requirements, and ensuring compliance with safety rules.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of protection relays and HV/LV substation electrical equipment, including vacuum reclosers, transformers, surge arresters, switchboards, and grounding systems.
- Ensure all field testing is conducted accurately and safely.
- Develop and execute departmental and project-specific test procedures while providing technical guidance to field testing technicians.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding testing projects, fostering strong relationships.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in testing, design, or construction of electrical facilities (Experience with ZIV protection relays is a plus).
- Expert understanding of electrical systems and proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical industry standards and experience with testing equipment, including CMC256 and CMC100.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a focus on safety and problem-solving.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is required.
