How you’ll make an impact
- Actively participate in site activities, including visiting customer sites for the installation, testing, and commissioning of the company HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other relevant equipment as assigned.
- Coordinate with the tools management department, ensuring proper use and arrangement of the company HV test equipment and tools for site activities related to HV products.
- Complete GIS installation and compartment assembly work, conduct minor fabrications as needed, troubleshoot HV product defects, and recommend action plans for repairs that may need to be conducted at the company facilities.
- Learn and operate test equipment used for HV product testing and maintenance at various locations including customer premises or the company locations.
- Collaborate with Project Management teams on various projects, adhering to all PM requirements and site regulations.
- Lead contractors or sub-contractors during job execution, coordinating with customers for resource requirements and ensuring completion of tasks, including obtaining customer sign-offs for Project Activity Completion (PAC) or time sheets.
- Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements to the Project Manager (PM), line manager, or supervisor.
- Follow company rules and display professionalism at office and site, reporting any safety or integrity incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner, and secure travel authorizations before site deployments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, HV switchgear protection, control, monitoring, measuring devices, or within industries or utilities companies.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
