As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) at Radiometer, you will be responsible for ensuring Customer Excellence through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair of Radiometer analyzers. The FSE acts as an external representative of Radiometer, conveying expertise in our products, services, and capabilities while also educating our customer business accounts.

This position is part of the Customer Support function located in AlAhsa-Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. As part of the Service Team, you will report to the Service Team Leader C/E. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and aim to build a world-class Service organization, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service of analyzers for the assigned installed base.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
  • Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates by specified due dates while meeting all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Install analyzers and conduct customer user training as needed.
  • Manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording parts used during service jobs.
  • Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Upgrade operating systems and ensure devices are cybersecurity compliant.
  • Perform basic IT troubleshooting for devices running Windows 7/10/11, including adding/editing IP addresses and confirming connection to Middleware, LIS, HIS, or EMR.

Essential Requirements:

  • University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in the healthcare industry, specifically with Medical & POC devices or Diagnostic equipment, with expertise in troubleshooting, networking/connectivity setup, and IT system upgrades.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capability to convey complex technical issues understandably.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with SQL databases, Java, and Mirth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems.
