The Field Service Engineer will provide onsite technical support for Banknote Processing Systems at customer premises. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality service delivery and building strong relationships with customer operational teams through technical expertise.
Scope and Purpose:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Banknote Processing Systems and related equipment.
- Install and commission G+D products according to project requirements.
- Provide technical support via phone for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Document service activities and spare parts usage in compliance with company policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and replenishment.
- Deliver first and second-level support, analyzing customer inquiries and issues.
- Maintain regular communication with customers about service requests and solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for users, both in-house and on-site.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of full-time experience as a Field Service Engineer.
- Strong practical skills with electromechanical systems, including proficiency with tools and measurement instruments.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with basic mechanics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Flexible to work shifts based on operational requirements and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Saudi national is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
