Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a critical role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage products such as High Voltage GIS, GCB, DTB, LTB, and their associated components. Your responsibilities will include executing installation and commissioning activities at customer sites, actively participating in site activities, coordinating with the tools management department, and ensuring the safe and effective use of high voltage tools and test equipment. You will also complete GIS Bay or GIS compartment assembly work, troubleshoot defects on high voltage products, and support operational activities at customer workplaces. Furthermore, you will prepare and submit activity reports, manage resources, and maintain compliance with project requirements while upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Execute installation, testing, and commissioning activities for high voltage products.
• Participate in PGTR projects and collaborate with project teams.
• Manage high voltage tools and transformer test equipment.
• Prepare site reports and plans, and submit weekly and monthly time sheets.
• Engage with customers and contractors to ensure smooth job execution and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in high voltage products.
• Experience with electrical equipment, switchgears, and high voltage protection and control systems.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Work Conditions:

• On-site work at customer locations and Hitachi Energy projects.
• Full-time position with potential travel requirements.
