The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for ensuring Customer Excellence through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer analyzers. The FSE is an external representative of Radiometer and must convey a keen sense of expertise in Radiometer products, services, and capabilities and serve as a key educator to our customer business accounts.

This position is part of the Customer Support function located in AlAhsa-Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Service Team Leader C/E.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of analyzers for the assigned installed base.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure proper calibration.
  • Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within specified due dates.
  • Install analyzers and conduct customer user training as required.
  • Manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording spare parts used on service jobs.
  • Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Upgrade operating systems and ensure device cybersecurity compliance.
  • Manage basic IT troubleshooting for devices with Windows 7/10/11, including adding/editing IP addresses and confirming connection to Middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.

Essential Requirements:

  • University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in the healthcare industry with Medical & POC devices/Diagnostic equipment.
  • Expert in troubleshooting, networking/connectivity setup, IT system upgrades, and basic command prompts.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SQL databases, Java, and Mirth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools & CRM.
