As a Field Service Engineer, you will serve as an external representative of Radiometer, demonstrating expertise in our products, services, and capabilities while educating customer business accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of analyzers for the assigned installed base.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
  • Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within specified due dates and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Install our analyzers and conduct customer user training as needed.
  • Manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording parts used on service jobs.
  • Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Upgrade operating systems and maintain device cybersecurity compliance.
  • Conduct basic IT troubleshooting for devices with Windows 7/10/11.
  • Add/edit IP addresses on devices and confirm connectivity to Middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.

Requirements:

  • University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in the healthcare industry with a focus on Medical & POC devices/Diagnostic equipment.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, networking/connectivity setup, and IT system upgrades.
  • Basic command prompt knowledge and connectivity testing of devices with middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to convey complex technical issues clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SQL database, Java, Mirth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools & CRM.
